  • Epoxy flooring was installed throughout the pool house

Pool Hours

Based on member feedback, the following changes were made to our pool hours for the 2026 season:

  • The pool will open at 1 pm on school days in August. (May/June school days are often still chilly and attendance data does not support opening earlier.)
  • The pool will open at 10 am on a trial basis on three Wednesdays in late July and August. (After our learn to swim classes and morning swim team practices conclude for the season and until school resumes.)  Pool use during these early openings will help inform decisions regarding earlier opening times for future seasons.

New Pool Deck Eating Space!

The coaches corner area on the main pool deck next to the snack shack has been converted to a designated eating area.

Pool Information

Brandywine is professionally managed by Premier Aquatics.

Pool Rules

Thunder & Lightning policy

Brandywine follows the guidelines established by Premier Aquatics, our pool management company:

  • At the first sound of thunder or the first sighting of lightning, lifeguards will immediately clear all patrons from the water and surrounding area (pool deck).

  • For thunder, patrons must leave the pool deck, but may remain in the grassy area adjacent to the pool deck.

  • Because lightning is attracted to the tallest object in the area, patrons must leave the pool grounds if lightning is sighted.  Patrons may not congregate under trees, umbrellas, or other tall objects.

  • The pool will remain closed for 30 minutes after the last sound of thunder and 1 hour after the last sight of lightning.
